We will be joined this month by RPCV Krista Kartson, the VP of Welcomer Programs and Experience with Welcome.US. She will share some of the resources available through Welcome.US, including their newest volunteer initiative, the Citizen Guide program, which is a national and entirely virtual program that pairs American volunteers 1:1 with green card holders to support them on their path to citizenship. They officially launched the program on July 4th at Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello, alongside a beautiful naturalization ceremony where 74 new Americans took their Oath of Allegiance.
